Ceravolo Wines
Adelaide Plains, South Australia

The Ceravolo vineyards are on highly prized Terra Rossa red soils over limestone on the fertile Adelaide Plains in South Australia. Fifty years ago, the Ceravolo family migrated from Calabria in the 35' north parallel in the south of Italy to a new life in the 35' south parallel in Australia.

Adelaide Plains wines are noted for their intense rich colours and full fruit flavours ... displaying softness and character at a very early age. It is one of the oldest wine regions in Australia ... grapes were known to have been first planted there in 1848. Historians tell us that Max Schubert made the original Penfolds Grange with Adelaide Plains grapes and it is said that Wolf Blass sourced his grapes from the Adelaide Plains for his original Jimmy Watson Trophy wine.

We hope you enjoy Joe, Heather and Antony’s wines as much as we do.
